Annoying greenhorn here. Parked today and saw a coolant leak, traced it back to the water pump. Went in to check things out and found that my fan had about a half inch of play in it. I can grab a blade and shake it down to the pulley like a loose tooth. What the heck is that about? Do I need to tighten up the clutch or is that standard when the water pump goes out? Seems fishy... If anyone has a good Changing Water Pumps For Dummies link I’d appreciate it!
