Okay, I don't 'think' anyone's posted this..... If so, it's still a great idea for me, and I'm building a beefed up version.

There are a few applications that I think this would make easier than a regular stand.

That's what I was thinking but the way he's using it i'd imagine it'd be fine. I wouldn't put it under an axle on my truck though lol!

I didn’t get under it without having the bucket of the skid steering supporting the weight of the frame, the hay fork was just a secondary support

Not sure what I see on the fone screen with yours it looks stout and skid steer bucket should do fine.

Mine as well. I was actually thinking about telling you how spoiled you are having a skid steer for a floor jack lol!

Yup, but with an improved, and beefier version, it's gonna be nice!

I dunno, it looks like a lot of work for something that barely holds the vehicle tire off the ground, unless that is all it was intended to do.

I mean, for his purpose that was probably all he needed.
For a bigger vehicle you would obviously make them taller. I would do a bigger footprint. Ole chucke2009 on the YouTube built some HD overkill hold up a tank jack stands. Lol

I love his youtube channel. I can't help but laugh listening to him and hearing the made up words he uses occasionally. Gonna have to fabricobble something together lol.
