cold air intake

well i am trying to build a cold air intake for the 94 factory turbo and was wandering if anyone has done this before and what the best way to do it is.. was goin to get one from oriely's but they didnt have one that had a big enough hole in it for the rubber hose that goes to the intake

I am putting a "fastory turbo" on my 93, as I didn't get a filter houseing with my turbo I am useing a intercooler tube from a 04 F450. Had to cut one end off the tube at the turbo but it gave me the right bends to get the filter end to the driver side and towards the front. The tube is 3" and the turbo inlet is 2.75". Made a bracket to hold the tube up front near the A/C compresser.

I made on for my self with some 3" exhaust pipe & 1 silicone adapter AFE air filter the hardest part was welding a little support bracket as seen in the pics not painted ford blue. Nedd the bracket though so it doesn't rub on a fuel line. Check it out:
