Yeah I had a similar setup for a while but had to use 1/4" icemaker tubing because that 1.5" flex hose was getting too much air for the engine and stalling it out

Fixed,..Thanks ;Sweet

Sure if you want to go the CHEAP route you can use the silver stuff but I would think for a quality install you want to use the Black or color matched tape.

Black tape over white hose= no color match.

I've got some black hose from a vacuum cleaner 3 foot long so the color will match. Will ship anywhere for $50, hose is free. Will also supply a 2"X13" strip of Black Gorrilla tape free.

Wait, is the Coad air tube running to the inside of the filter? I guess that's so that pesky filter junk doesn't slow down the flow!

i give it 15 hp... and another 5 for the red and blue autozone wire loom. But im going to have to deduct 3 hp for the huge dent in the radiator support. Grand total 17 hp..not bad..

Was just wondering that myself.

But it's a good idea, that way the turbo can grind up all those bugs without trying to suck them thru the filter.:rotflmao :rotflmao

Call me crazy, but a clean instal (ie., no tape LOL) And that seems to be a decent way to route air to a cone style filter. Basics behind it are alright, execution of those basics suck on that thing LOL

Oh No, Nothing but clean filtered air for this high quality piece of machinery!, there is a cone filter on the inside:

Also for those of you who think you need some sort of Big Scoop to grab the air and throw it in the motor to get big HP numbers, you are wrong,..:
