Yep that would mean all sub brands of Chrysler. I don't care who buys it as long as they run it correctly - wouldn't want it to end up like Ford where they have 2 dollars collectively throught out the entire company.

One of the auto market analysts said the only ones to benefit from the Chrysler sale would be Daimler............they wouldn't have Chrysler anymore :rotflmao :rotflmao

I know there are a couple of Cummins factories on strike on the local news. The workers said that once Cummins took over the plant (I believe they were CAT plants) that it all went to hell. At any rate, the local news says they think it will be a long one as the workers were given a contract that took most if not all health insurance etc. from them. I didn't catch what particular engines they made etc. but reference was made to Dodge. I was hald a-sleep last night when it ran, but when I saw the Cummins sign in the background, I started to pay attention.

Breaking it up is a possibility if it's sold. I hope that doesn't happen. I do hope whoever gets it will help it return to it's full potential.

They will probably pare it down, Jeep will stay for sure and I would think the Dodge label will make it before they would bring everything under the Chrysler name. I would hate to say I drive a Chrysler Cummins 2500!!

    Not a rumor anymore.......

    Chrysler Sold

Looks like Daimler got rid of 80.1% of Chrysler to a private equity firm.

It'll be interesting to see what happens next.

:rotflmao :rotflmao I can see where that would cause problems.

I would bet that they keep both names as they are big names that carry some weight in the business world.

Of course who knows at this point, they may change both to GMACCAC

General Motors And Chrysler Credit Acceptance Corporation:confused:
