I've never had a check engine light before, in any car. It surprised me when it came on today, at 8500 miles. I'm betting EGR...

or glow plug code. Has it had the recall or TSB done to the glow system?

Yes. Had that done before I bought it.

I got the CEL at about 3800 miles. Turbo position sensor. I hadn't really thought about it, but I was experiencing some turbo lag. I just thought it was my driving technique of bury it and go. After it was replaced, turbo lag is virtually gone. Service guy said they have had about 4-5 '06's come in with less than 5K on them already.

It went back out and they didn't look at it, so I didn't get to find out.
