Greetings Oilburners! Today I am happy to announce some new products for April 2019 from Classic Diesel Designs:

These hats make for a great base to build your own intercooler setup for your your IDI, while still retaining the stock intake manifold. This hat base is 2 1/4” tall, if your setup requires a lower profile design, we will custom tailor the dimensions to fit your needs, no extra cost. $300 shipped

-IDI injector o-rings and copper washers are now available from us in individual sets of eight. Copper washers are $10 shipped, and injector o-rings are available in viton ($20 shipped) and nitrile ($15 shipped).

Even if you don't have an IDI that intake hat is worth the price as a object d'art. Beautiful welds there brother.

Are the stage 1 injectors the ones you were modifying with the 3M nozzles? How did testing go with them? What are the advantages over stock injectors?

I should be pulling out the 3m injectors from the shop truck soon for an update, the stage ones are a G code nozzle that is set at a lower pop pressure after going in and cleaning up the factory finish on the pintle and nozzle by lapping it by hand. The lower pop pressure pulls a bit more fuel out of the pump but without compromising the spray pattern, same concept as the 3m just not as extreme.

That poor shop truck will be able to disassemble itself pretty soon. Sometimes you just have to feel a little bit sorry for the test mules.
