in the "scout junkyard" i used to go to for harvester parts the guy had a 4 door 8 foot dump box loadstar 1600 with a 6.9. it was alot of truck, he was going to pull the 6.9 for a 9.0L then sell me the 6.9...lost contact with him. oh well.

I did not purchase this truck.....sorry cant help. I did buy a 1981 IH S1950 with a DT 466 and it has been a great truck. It has a 5 speed with a splitter that I suspect is a spicer.
