Cab Mounts - OEM or synthetic?

I did the black ones from energy suspension. Did you read Heath's article about this process? He did a great job outlining the steps really well. I am happy with the energy suspension stuff. About 80 bucks if I remember.

I'll search for that article. Thanks for pointing it out. Yeah, $80 sounds a lot more do-able than almost $400. :eek:

I purchased my 2" lift kit from Summit. It uses round black poly bushings and includes Grade 5 hex bolts, washers and NyLock lock nuts. I like the idea of the silicone grease. When I do the cab bushings, I'll smear a little on the ends that touch the metal frame and cab mounts. Prevents squeaks and prevents corrosion - good two-fer.

TMB - I used black suspension bushings on my Land Cruiser because of the graphite thing. Rode great, no squeaks.
