Just the head?

Slim chance a good soak with PBlaster or Pyrol along with an angle drill....otherwise....pull the manifold and apply some heat while using some vise grips.

Don't forget to also do the up pipe donughts!

|stupid what he said! soak the bolt at least overnight with pb blaster or penetrating oil. if you can grab onto part of it still, some good vice grips should work. if not, you probably gotta pull the whole manifold. is it leaking? i am guessing that it is since you managed to find out that it was brokeLOL. penetrating oil takes FOREVER to actually do its job, but once it does, it's amazing.

it is a common thing, the un broke ones will give ya more trouble than the broke one.
the bolts are 3/8 and the holes through the manifold are 7/16, the space between actually fills with rust. Ive had quite a few I have done . the last one I ground some off the bolt heads and drilled the rust out, the used the extractor on them.
the last thing ya want to do is break the heads off, then you are in bigger trouble.

we had the 99 IH here do that on the very last bolt on both sides.some wd40 and needle nose vice grips and they turned right out.grab the bolt in the space between the manifold and head.
