block heater plug?

i have a friend who has an 02 chevy duramax. im not sure what size engine, but he cant seem to find the plug for his block heater. any body know where it would be?

I beleive the heater is on the right front of the engine, near the front of the motor mount. Crawl under, find that and follow it forward. It's usually tied up behind the right side of the front bumper near the frame rail.
