I have a 12,000 pound Warn Winch that I was planning on using on Big Ed but it didn't fit behind the bumper with the Intercooler so it now needs to go. I bought used, it is in good shape, no controller but can be bought on E-Bay for about $50.00. I'll have pics tomorrow. $450.00 plus shipping.

Ok first of all this is a "Winch," not a "*****" Sorry if I offended anybody saying that I had a big honkin "*****" for sale :D ;Really

This comes either with or without the brush guard, I believe that it is for a 94 body style Dodge. If you want to pay for shipping for the brush guard you can have it for free.

Here are some pics:

That ain't a big winch......This is a big winch.20,000lb of actual pulling force verses pulling a 12,000lb vehicle rolling on level smooth pavement(Civilian ratings are rolling weight not actual pull.....)Sorry,I had to.But I wish I had something to put that winch on and bumper cause I would buy it.....but I got enough projects as you can see by the good parts of the wreckers I just bought in this picture.....yea,that is the BEST part of the truck. The rest needs about 10 gallons of paint and a BUNCH of wire wheeling......and a new cab tub since the old one is WAY too far gone to save.

I went and bought the thing from him :D Couldn't help myself, all this talk about wenches, just lost track of what I was buying :rotflmao:rotflmao:rotflmao

Those military things are so far underrated it's not even funny because they know that the guys are going to ignore any load rating tags they put on the things, especially under combat conditions. It would be interesting to know how much the things could actually pull before folding, probably about 2-3 times the rated capacity.

Well....put it this way, they have a sheer pin on the PTO drive shaft that is made out of Aluminum.......They used aluminum to limit it to 10,000Lbs on the deuce and 20K on the 5 tons. There have been guys that replaced the shear pin with bolts and exploded the winch gear box.
