I bought one of those once as well. Are you supposed to loom that thing back through the engine harness? It seems awfully small as compared to the harness on the engine.

May need some small mods but still cheap. Maybe extend controller wires.

Oh yeah, the wife makes some good beers,;Sweet But anything from up north thats dark would be nice.

GW, it will at least fit the engine, if you want to get screwed go to ford for one. easy to make this one work, the important parts are the GP connectors.

IH mounts the controller on the back like ford did, at least on my buddys truck.. SHOULD fit fine.

I tried to buy 6 then 5 then 4 then 3 with success. Frank at uhaul just don't want anyone making money on them. Cost to ship to Canada is like $18. Sorry goofy. I don't need 3 but if anyone in the future needs one I'll sell for cost plus ship, which I guess in a small priority box would be $6.95 if it fits.

I cut and pasted this from my May 2011 thread...

"Frank Settles of U-Haul, asked me to send his thanks to all of us Oilburners who have ordered their parts, and been patient while their numerous facilities cope with the huge amount of orders.

And, he will give special parts buying status to any Oilburner who requests it, so the 3-item limit, designed to ward off resellers, will not apply to you.

From Frank...

"We are starting to list a lot of overstock items on ebay but we have a limit on 3 items per order. I know the people on the forums are good guys and just looking to get parts for their trucks, I would be happy to put them on our exempt list. If anyone wants to be added to the list have them email me their ebay buyer ID name to [email protected] and I will make sure they get added.

thanks again,

Frank Settles
Program Manager - Parts Sales
U-Haul Fleet Sales & Support"

NOW,

NOBODY screw this up, by buying a ton of stuff and then reselling it on Ebay, okay?
Seriously. Only buy the quantity that you know you will use, so other Oilburners can benefit too. I doubt anyone here will really use 50 fuel filters, or 30 oil filters, in their lifetime.

Special note: Frank needs your EBAY ID, not your Oilburners ID."
