battery cable question

Thanks! Would it be ok to cut these smaller ground wires and put a ring terminal on them since I have another neg pass side battery cable to put on. Basically the pic you posted that small wire I'd put a terminal on the end and put it on the bolt with the cable end or does it have to be made inside there cable like the napa pic

I think that will work fine.
