As some of you may know, I am in the process of swapping engines. I am down to turbo removal and I'm stumped. I removed the intake manifold bolt and the two pedestal bolts and now I'm not sure what to do next. Thanx in advance for any help.

X2 on the injector lines.

I wouldn't call myself an professional haha but take a look through my thread and that diagram I posted up should help ya out. The diagram really helped me out. (mines a 085 kit) looking at the diagram you should be able to just pull it off. Since you already got the bolts out. I know I know it's never that easy. :rotflmao :rotflmao

Why are you guys taking the injection lines off?:dunno

Sometimes after the bolts are out the 088 can just be wiggled straight up. Usually is easier it you pull the down pipe first. might need to heat up where the cast exhaust elbow goes into the exhaust housing.

When I swapped my engine with the 093 turbo, I left the turbo on, it was tight squeeze but it came out. I'm not sure about the 088 or 085 turbo kits but it shouldn't be much different
