Are there any issues with the 1984 MB 300d, non turbo engine?

I'm about to buy a 1984 MB 300D, in fair condition, about 200K miles, one owner and wanted to know if there are any serious issues with this model car engines that I should be aware of. Thanks for your help.

Nope. It is a great car. The only one better would be an 85 because they changed the rear axle ratio for better highway cruising. There were issues with the climate control on earlier models, but they had been corrected by the early 80s
