Anyone using a Frantz oil fiter in wmo setup???

Recently we (OB) had a discussion on adding a Frantz oil filter system in addition to stock engine oil filters, and that got me to wonder if anyone is using a "Frantz" in a wmo setup...????

Don't remember anyone has ever said this???
Since it looks like this is a lower oil pressure setup, it could work pretty good for filtering wmo..
Also the "filter" TP, would be a cheap cartridge to replace...????

I have read somewhere on here that they have been used, but I'm not sure why they are not more common. Maybe it's just the idea of the filter that makes people not feel too comfortable using it.
