Do you have any local guys that can rebuild it? We have a shop in town that rebuilds our starters and they last far longer than factory. Might be worth looking into.

i have a gear reduction new style in my little truck and works good,i dont know any parts #,my local alt/starter shop hooked me up

Both pictured starters are a gear reduction starter. Typ4 knows of a very good high torque 4 kv starter. Sorry I do not have the name or part number.

Have been using DB Electric starters for a while. Have always been good. Like any starters, do not use if batteries are low since high amps will cook them. Spins fast.
