A new piece of the puzzel. I drove the truck for the first time since we last worked on it. Using the front tank. There is still fuel leaking from the top of the rear tank. We have replaced the fuel lines and triple checked all connections. Any ideas on what might be causing the leak? Would that also attribute to the air in the lines? I don't have a good understanding of how the whole system functions.
My brand new Holley Red showed up yesterday. Original box with instructions and mounting hardware. I got if off evil Bay for $50. From a guy that bought it for a project and never used it.
Thanks for the help. And thank you Exekiel for all the help you have provided.

Charlie, is the tank leaking at a fitting, a hose, or some "mystery" spot? One thing IS for sure, as was already mentioned. A fuel leak = an air leak. That said, your selector valve should differentiate fully from one tank to the next. The fact that your still leaking fuel could indicate that the supply or return is still in operation due to a faulty seal in the selector valve. I wouldn't use this as an excuse to get a new valve, but you may want to disconnect the lines to the rear tank, and plug them temporarily as an aid to solving the problem.

, then after a few minutes of nothingness We drop the tank just a bit and found the hoses strangled, got them loose and FINALLY in just one try it runs great (I love the electric pumps on this trucks) so just wanted to let you all know when you replace the fuel hoses on the tank (specially the rear tank) make sure they fit well and they are not strangled so the fuel can go trough them.
