I am working on a 1978 Freightliner with a Cummins engine the air brake compressor has failed and I am replacing it but have ran into a snag. The front inside bolt closest to the block is nearly inaccessible. Is there a special wrench needed to get this bolt out? Or do I need to remove the belts and pulleys and get it apart from the front?
Any help is greatly appreciated this vehicle is one of our tenders for our local FD.

It's a total pain!! I've changed a ton of them...there is a special wrench its basically a curved box end i made mine from an old wrench with a hammer and a torch to heat it up... Google Cummins compressor wrench and you will see what I mean
