Icanfixall, I have a suggestion for you if by any chance you've been looking for a way to move the gauges away from the dash but still keep them easy to see and read - there is this thing called a "shelf-it", it's a fabric-wrapped steel shelf that bolts to the cab roof in place of your shade visors, then the visors bolt to the bottom of it. Depending on how high you install the shelf and/or how you tilt it, you can line most of it up with gauges. It's a great location because the gauges are always in front of your eyes but still not in the way, and sitting right under the headliner they get no glare from the sun or street lights. Obviously that setup mostly works for electric gauges, tho you can easily extend boost and an oil pressure feed lines up there as well (mech temp gauges have sealed fixed-length lines that cannot be tampered with so they likely won't reach that high up).

Also a question regarding your Banks (made by Isspro?) pyrometer - does the thermocouple connect to that directly, or does it have an electronic "driver" box for a stepper motor?

Isspro. Look at the market - most of the common gauges you see are sold mainly to the ricer type crowd - ie fancy spiffy 'cool' looking super carbon fiber whatsit stuff. For me that's about the last thing I care about - I want simple functional heavy duty stuff, which is what Isspro makes. They're market is OEMs and commercial stuff. Many commercial trucks run Isspro gauges - that's what I want in my rig, not something that's sold on the basis of being cool.

They also have quite good customer support. Even as an individual low volume buyer I've had good luck working with their engineering dept even to the point of being sent a spare tach for testing when I was trying to figure out why mine wasn't working. (turned out to be a sender issue - Isspro tach needs a higher voltage signal than the stock one, so having the sensor too far from the gear caused it not to work.)

They're prices aren't too bad either from what I've seen. More than chinese junk, but not too much. I've had good luck using the Isspro catalog to id what model gauge I want and then doing a google search for that model and finding them around 3/4 of list.

My less than a year old gloshift POS egt took a **** on the first good pul 11# watched it climb to 1100 then bounce 700-1500)l on 80 after my new moose install, its getting a hit with a hammer soon as I get home and an isspro goin back in.
Try pullin the seirra's with a new pump that ya dont know the caracteristics of yet without a egt!
