My truck is an 89 single cab F350 4x4 7.3idi with zf 5spd. I recently purchased a complete 1994 factory ATS turbo (turbo rebuilt by eaton IH) with all factory parts, including valve cover, air filter, up pipe, crossover pipe, etc. I realize I'm going to need a new exhaust system for the truck and would like to know if anyone has purchased a Diamond Eye 4" stainless (turbo back). This kit has a 3" up pipe however I think it's designed for the 1994 Power Stroke. I'm curious if this system will fit my truck having the 7.3 IDI with ATS turbo??? Also, is it necessary to replace the factory crossover pipe as I don't think it's included in the Diamond Eye kit.

I also realize I'll need a pyro and boost gauge and noticed most prefer either isspro or autometer.

That exhaust kit is make for powerstrokes.

I don't think the downpipe will work.
Look for a down pipe back kit.
Then get a 3" down pipe from banks or the like.
When looking up parts for your truck, do it as a 93. That way it won't bring up powerstroke parts.
Except the exhaust kit from downpipe back. Do it as a 94.

The crossover pipe isn't sold iirc.
If yours is bad, just have a exhaust shop build you one.

Most run a straight pipe back to the tail pipe tip. No muffler. We have found this works well and not overly loud either.. till you start working the engine. then you hear it telling you its working for a living. Still its not loud like an uncorked gasser with headers. Three inch will work fine but 4 inch is better and thats the limit to what works well.

How are your welding/fab skills? If good then just modify that downpipe to fit, if not so good i would take it an exhaust shop and have them modify it.

I have a MBRP exhaust intended for a 96 Powerstroke on my truck. Had to move one hangar, and adapt it to the ATS down pipe on my turbo kit. If the price is right, you can buy it and sell the included power stroke downpipe (i did) and it works great.
