JUST DO NOT DO IT...KEEP THE OLD ONE AND SAVE THE MONEY!
Thats odd that commiefornia is less strict on testing than Colorado.
Here even our IDI"s have to be tested (unless yours is registered in a rural area like mine is)
I talked to a dealer I know the other day and he said they don't even want 7.3 PSD's on their lot anymore because of the risks/liability that it wont pass emissions w/o them spending some serious dough to get it to past. Emissions in Colorado must be getting tough!
Leave the gasoline out of that mix, not good for a Diesel

Lol nice one Oldbull! lol
Yea I had a 00' F350 w/ hips a few years back. I loved that thing, and not sure what possessed me to sell it. Probably the big fat profit I made on it, but still regret selling it

Not that I want to talk to you into a new rig......aka a house payment!........when you guys are talking about parts to replace those trucks like injectors and whatnot wouldnt bumper to bumper warranty (or whatever it is) cover those things?
I should add I have no idea how warranty works, and from what ive heard stealerships try and blame the failed part on the owner most of the time

)I like the 6.0 but it will never tolerate poor fuel. The 7.3 strokes will. Infact my good friend bought a 7.3 superduty to drive instead of his 6.4 just because he could burn wmo in it. He goes 50/50 which is a great savings and with a mileage tune they aren't bad.
My personal favorites are OBS strokes. They don't ride as nice as a superduty stock but they can. I will tell you this. At the end of the day when i get home from the shop, the LAST THING I WANT TO DO IS FIX MY OWN TRUCK. The engine, transmission have been perfect. Any issues i've had, have been with inferior quality parts.
the 7.3l stroke my buddy has clocked over 212K on the stock injectors on WMO. The truck has 250K, mostly origional except for both UVCH, a fuel pump (went with a upgrade raptor) and 2 water pumps.
