The 2004 ram3500 and some 2500 use the AAM 11.5 rear unit. Just had mine upgraded from 3.73 to 4.3 gears. Mobile 1 with friction modifier was put into the unit. Hope it works. Pulling a 40ft 5th wheel triple axle with three slides in Colorado Mtns.
