For some reason I like that thing looking crude just how it is. Welds showing, mismatch paint, etc. Kind of like farm truck on that street outlaws show.

and thats the end of the fab work on the bed itself!
tomorrow ill get some more abrasives and grind it all, then prep for painty.
up next is some dog house work, battery trays, heater and wiper install
then front end work.

welp. several signs told me to pull the engine, clean up the engine compartment and put my new engine in it.

and the tides have washed me out!
@Clb i feel like im letting you down going this far with it lol
gonna delay my exo plans.
but theres just so many things on this rig that needs to be addressed.
1) the use of zip screws is not the damn deal!
they are not going back in.
2) underneath the cab is still bare metal.
i have the paint and the supplys to clean it up and POR 15 it.
3) the wiring is a complete mess. i need to address this before going any further.
4) the engine thats going in, is a 7.3T
so i cant run a T-19 gonna have to be a ZF5, i have a 460 ZF im going to use for now.
will be changing that with a freshly built ZF in the next few years
5) i need to aquire a NP271/4407 for the fixed yoke on the transfer,
im switching to a DC rear shaft due to extreme angles
6) ive had decent gauges for this, just never hooked up.
im going to gut a factory cluster, and install the isspro's
i can come up with several more reasons i wont be wheeling anytime soon.
but rest assured, im not stopping on this project until its done!
and it will be even badder than it ever was.... WITH RECOVERY POINTS!
