A/C compressor oil and refrigerant

I just plugged one side of the old evap and put some compressed air through it. And it does have a leak somewhere in the fins. It loses pressure out the side quickly. So I'll definitely need a new evap. Figured I'd check before I went through the trouble of putting it all back together. I did find one on ebay that looks to have the right bracket. I'll probably just order that. All the parts stores around here look they have the same wrong part I got by the looks of the pictures they have for them.

That was a good way to test it. Even though its considered a no-no, I have put compressed air on the whole system when it was empty, using soap and looking for leaks. I always put it on a vacuum for about a day afterwards. Never had any trouble yet. I don't mess with it enough to justify a nitrogen test setup.
