I HAVE A 97 F350 7.3 4X4 5SPEED, AND MY QUESTION TO YOU GUYS OR GALS IS IF ANYONE HAS EVER HAD THE PROBLEM WITH THE CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY OR MAYBE THE CLUTCH SLAVE? I HAVE REPLACED BUSHINGS, AND THE THROWOUT BEARING. IT SHATTERED ON ME AND I THINK IT WAS BECAUSE OF NOT ALWAYS ENGAGING. I JUST FEEL LIKE I AM NOT GETTING 100% OUT OF MY CLUTCH. I HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF PLAY IN THE PEDAL WHEN DISENGAGED. THE CLUTCH IS GOOD, BUT JUST DIFFICULT TO GET INTO GEAR.
THANKS

bad clutch

I had the same problem, stiff pedal , can never seem to get it fully disengaged
hard time with 1st and rev

New SB clutch kit all set no more problem. Can push it in with bear feet.

I suspect the pressure plate was bad.

When you talk about bushing relpacement, are you referring to the one inside the cab that connects the pedal assembly to the master cylinder push rod?
