the truck had a new clutch and trans before I bought it (not that new means it can't be burned out)
I had a sloppy pedal so I did the push rod repair and new bushings this past spring.
it felt great since then and always grabbed about 1/3 of the way up.
suddenly it feels a bit spongy and grabs right at the floor. I can barely get it into gear.
by suddenly, I mean it was fine when I parked it and bad 3 days later when I next drove it.
I did some searching and read about firewall flex and even bent forks, but those look ok.
I can't see much of the fork, but I see it move, it doesn't appear to be deflecting.
the fluid is not low so there doesn't appear to be a leak.
I think the disk is ok, it looks like there's plenty of meat left on it

because of the slightly spongy feel I'm thinking slave cylinder but it's just a huntch.
it feel similar to brakes that need bleeding, what do you think?
how can I tell if it's master or slave, or maybe I'm wrong and it's something else.
thanks

just by eye, maybe about 1/2 inch or so. I didn't put a ruler on it though

looks like it was the slave cylinder. the old one was full of fluid behind the dust boot.
I haven't been on a test drive to confirm but I see the clutch disengage now.
