New to the forums here and learning a lot, but got a 1991 F350 XLT Dually a few months back. Just recently got started on making the truck daily driver capable. Noticed that the PO had disconnected the heater core, so I decided to replace. Pulled the old core out no problems (It was horrible looking, so my suspicions were correct on that). My troubles however, started when I decided to change the coolant out, because of the new component. I was able to drain the radiator successfully with no problems. As for the block, I decided to start with the drivers side, because the passenger side looks a bit more difficult to take out. I took what I believe to be the drain plug out (brass plug with square end on the right hand side when facing the oil cooler). No coolant came out. I'm confused a bit, and the plugs on my truck look different from the pictures on the other threads about this topic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This thing has been nothing but a head ache for me recently.
