Whats the latest on quality 9007 series LED bulb replacements for OBS trucks? I purchased one set of "Brightsource" bulbs and the highbeams were terrible. The light was bright but they didn't throw a distant light, so long range visibility was terrible. I am wondering what people have experienced with other brands? Im looking for an LED 9007 that will give a good long distant beam and something that isn't blue or a weird color.

Any thoughts would be great.

If you search around(I don't mean just here), the led replacement bulbs aren't that great.

That's too bad. On my commercial trucks I have been running sealed beam l.e.d "Trucklites" and they are nothing short of amazing. Great light pattern and long distance throw and clarity, low draw and long life span. Sure wish there was something even close to as good for the 9007 style bulbs/housings.

Right, the whole sealed led setups seem good. Just not so much for the drop in bulbs.
Maybe they will get better before long.

The led has to be extremely precise to have the beam pattern come out right. The bulbs that work cost close to $200. One I recall was the Morimoto 2 Stroke 2.0. TheRetrofitSource has many head 2 head tests on YouTube actually installing the bulb and shining it on the wall. There is one other good led bulb I can’t recall at the moment. For my 91 I went with an Aussie headlight conversion and Morimoto Sealed 6 led replacements for the 6054 sealed beams. For the 96 I’m thinking since the price of led projector retro kits is coming down I’m going to install projectors in clear replacement headlights.

Still wont be as good as halogens, unless you retrofit projectors.
Look at some YouTube comparisons. Any new car rolling off the line with LEDs will have projector housings.
Now lasers are the new thing. Lol

Do you have an opinion as to what the best 9007 Halogen is? I might go back to them with a relay kit if I can't improve my lighting with led's

Got the best pattern on 9004 with HID's so will try same for 9007. Backup is Morimoto stroke 2 which switches LED from low to hi beam instead of moving whole bulb like some HID's.

The silver star ultras are decent. They have the new "zxe" line that's supposed to be even brighter.
Look up some youtube 9007 bulbs comparisons.
