So when most of us go and buy a used truck, we then go through and throw another pile of money at it in the form of replacement parts. This truck has had all of the stuff that normally falls off of an IDI replaced in the last 2000 or so miles.
Tally up how much it would cost to buy all the parts he changed out, I bet it would be way over the asking price. He even changed the big ticket stuff, like radiator, injection system (even new lines), ball joints/tie rod ends.
I'd say it's a good deal as long as there's proof of it being replaced.

It's like anything else folks... location, location, location!
WA state has always been a glut area for pickups, everyone has the things, they grow on friggen trees there , so used prices are WAY low compared to what city folks end up paying when they go looking for trucks. When I lived up that way over 20 years ago nice 4x4s could be had for $5-800 all day long. I bought a jeep pickup with not a thing wrong with it and fresh tires for about $700
Most parts of Texas are the same way, trucks are everywhere and everyone is trying to sell one so they go cheap, but ironically right next door in Arkansas, these fools think their old crap rusted out clap trap piece of junk trucks are worth pure gold, but they are overpriced on all vehicles here, I buy almost all my vehicles out of state, it's worth the travel.

yep. I got no problems going to Washington or Oregon to buy a truck........ considering the savings and getting a rust free truck pays for the travel.... but I just bought the 96 'stroke so I got no funds till after Christmas.

I hate the bumpers....Chrome don't getmehome!

Truck is interesting...cut the cab back off...attach a Bronco rear portion and voila...not a centruion 4 door...but a bigger Bronco none the less! I'ld be all over that if it was in BC.

If nothing else, buy it, park it, and never go to a parts store again! That would damn near be the perfect parts truck.
