Good day. Just drove an 1988 f250 4x4 out of a field near Eagan lake BC. (that's in the people's republic of canuckistan) Sat there untouched for 19 years but started up quite well with some TLC. Slowly making my way through routine maintenance, considering it's pedigree. So far the truck appears to have survived its extended hibernation mostly unscathed...

I'm certainly not new to diesels, but unfamiliar with this particular species. Nice thing is it's so darned basic with only the glow plug controller and a factory am radio that could be considered mildly electronic, so progress is swift and fairly painless. Previous extensive experience with golf course/AG equipment and 1.6 litre turbo VW's. I've also spent a lot of time losing fish, but that's a subject for a different forum most likely. Mind you, renewable diesel might involve fish?
