Those caddy calipers are larger than most car calipers. Someone on FSB did a clamping force/surface area comparison against the front dial passion calipers and the results weren't far off. Not sure if they'd be viable for heavy hauling, but IIRC, the heaviest thing the 6 door will see is his boat.

12k pounds. my big boat is a heavy *******.
it did ok with drum,
im anxious to see how it will do.
the trailer is a 3 axle w/ disc brakes.

going down a long grade hauling heavy against compression, having to tap the brakes now and again to keep speed in check, I'll take the disc's on all four corners. OTOH, a perfectly tuned truck drum setup is hard to beat in a fully loaded panic stop situation.

most of the action will be that of a real mans mini van LOL
taking kids places with no load.
only once in a while it will tow the big boat.
most of the time its the little 2500 pound flattys

and ill be building a PSD next so most likely well take that one on long boating trips.

i cut out the holes for the gauges, but it didnt fit. the front of the gauges are golden, but the retainers did not work.
the guges i have coming are a different mounting style, hopefully i can make it fit.

wow, thanks for sharing!!
but uahhhh that thing IMO is hideous!

the van is the last thing on my mind.
but i would like to find some coil sprung axles and a ZF for it.
or just use my divorced transfer.

too many projects, not enough time.

thinking about taking a break from diesels to finish up some other projects on my list.
but the 87 must be done first.
