so progress has been slow.
the twins are getting more fun everyday.
the one thing that fixes their crabby attitude is "truck"
the absolutely love playing inside one of the trucks.
usually I let them play in the SD since I have spare pats and its not a runner.

here is the latest on the bed.
hope to start applying fiberbond today.
I have some 6x6" box tubing coming today to do some frame work so I can mount this badboy.

GO BIG, OR GO HOME

this is a little overkill, but so be it.
6x6 x3/16 graphed into the frame
this will mount the rear body mounts, and give me some strength for a rear winch, and a gnarly bumper to compliment the front.

that my friend, is the point.
It was the perfect size to strengthen the rear of the frame, and to beable to add mounts for the bronco bed.
going to also do a gnarly bumper with my left over diamond plate.

I love it! I shall call it a "Not gonna crumple" zone! I need one of these on the front and back of my bronco as part of adhering to my "Battering Ram" best practices standard. LOL

well I started working on the bed again today.
got the fiberglass top off, thought I was done with metal work.
started layin down duraglass, and decided to call the day short, due to the fact,
that I didn't box in the lill pieces infront of the wheel, and boy are they a little flimsy.
and no material to box em in...
have to wait till Monday.
but its shaping up.
spent about an hour with a hammer n dollie, still some more bangin to do.

bless her soul.
she couldn't give 2 shats about the build,
but she tries to make an effort and show interest.
I love her to pieces.

ok, this has taken me forever, but its about a days work of getting primered for the first time!
all metal work is done, and sealed. gotta lay down 1/2 gallon of bondo then hit it heavy with some polyester and a guide coat.
I cant wait till this is done!!!
