would the tranny cooler built into the rad be sufficient in heating the wvo by itself? or would i need something better? it was just a thought i had and figured id ask. i realize the purpose of it is to cool so it may not be the best but i figured it might at least help preheat the oil at least. i have a man tranny in my 89 7.3l idi so i dont need the cooler in the rad

I believe he is also using the AC Condenser in his truck (AC Broke) as a very large transmission cooler......
