7.3 idi no start

My truck has been running very reliably for many months but after a few hours sitting today no start. Won’t even try. Cranked real fast, glow plugs are working fine and new. Lift pump is working fine, getting plenty of fuel to the ip. I cracked the lines and there’s fuel to the injectors. When I cracked the lines and turned it over with the lines open, it was close to starting. But then tightened the lines and nothing again. Any ideas?

May be the injection pump is finally on its way out. Pour some Luke warm water over it to cool it down a little, see if it fires up after that.
