6.2 vs 6.5

What's the best diesel engine for a G20 or G30?
I know the 6.5 have crankshaft issues.

They are both cast cranks AFAIK, and turbocharging subjects them to more punishment. Have seen broken ones in both displacements. Some say more prone to it with a manual trans. TH400 auto is an miserable pairing - really needs an OD trans.

The G30 (8lug suspension) gets the nod for me.
