Looking at a pair of trucks one is a 2006 IH with a 6.0, the other is a 2009 IH with a 6.4, both have similar miles and hours, witch is the greater evil??

6.4 may have more power up front, but the 6.0 isn't as finicky. 6.4 is Russian roulette, nothing you can do about. At least the 6.0 problems can be fixed.

The DT is pretty decent. We have two 530's kicking around.
