I've had a long journey of troubleshooting with this issue.
Bear with me.
Several months ago i was driving across the state and my trans just started acting like the Torque converter was locked in, stalling when put into gear, hard shifting. I did the usual troubleshooting, unplugged the trans to see if it would release, it didn't.
Ordered a new TCC from California and as I was installing the transmission some chafed wires on the transmission harness i hadn't noticed sparked on the frame rail, i didn't think too much of it until none of my gauges would work and was still having a lockup condition.

Another PCM and a new set of solenoids later I was still having issues.

I ended up test swapping another valve body in and that seemed to fixed the locked up condition, but now I had no torque converter lockup.

I rebuilt my original valvebody with a transgo SK-TFOD shift kit. Everything is working great. Its shifting much smoother than ever.

But again, now don't have TC lockup at all.
I put a test light on the orange "switched ground" and I do have signal to the trans.

Im not sure what is left to replace or adjust at this point.

Any thoughts?

Thanks y'all.
