I was looking for a dt360 for my project but got tired of dead ends and people thinking they are gold. so I purchased a 2001 3126 Cat and am presently looking for an OD manual trans for it. my chassis is a 2008 F350 crewcab 4wd , my body is a 1971 F350 crewcab and bed. my case is a NP 205 remote . I have everything now except the trans. anybody here have any experience with the 3126/C7 into a superduty chassis. I have never seen one but have heard the 3126/C7 was available in an F650 superduty. if so these motor mounts would be perfect. anything that would make the build more OEM ish would be helpful down the road. thanks in advance. this is going to be my retirement travel vehicle not a monster truck on 22s.

Maybe look at Freightliners for a trans. FL70/80 may have Cat power instead of Cummins by the mid/late 90's. Chevy used Cat too in the heavier trucks. Mounting is usually at the very front of the engine, and one under each side of the bellhousing.

Engine fitment (length) will be a challenge. That is why the 6BT and DT360 are more popular for swaps.
