Taking my 89 straight six m5Od to work this morning and the clutch goes to the floor. Figures the linkage came off and floated gears to a ice cream shop.

Clutch pedal is still on master pushrod but it got real hard to push after it dropped to the floor and now when you push it it does nothing and doesnt come back up either..

Yeah I just left it there. I tried to force it but that's when something gave in while pressing the clutch and that's when the leak developed.

Could something have just been stuck in the linkage in the trans and me forcing the hard petal blew the line or the slave? I was only gonna run this truck this winter and be forced to retire it due to rust but now I fear its life is likely over. I'm not gonna pull a trans and transfer case to repair clutch internals on something that has a rusty frame so bad the bumper is hardly attached.

If the input shaft looks galled, I’d say that’s where your problem started. With out looking I can’t be sure though
