The double prong is on the far end that feeds the. . . injector pump cold advance(?) The closest one is the over temp sensor for the idiot light(?) The center one above the timing gear is the temp gauge(?) and goes where? In that hole with the Allen head plug in it?

Thank you.
A long way to go and a short time until it starts raining again.
My fantasy is to get this together very soon and see if I can start stuffing before the rains come.
Yeah. I don't believe I will make it.

I actually put the probe for my mechanical gauge in the hole with the hex plug in the picture. Since the factory temp isn't accurate, I put the sender in the top of the water pump and extended the wire to reach it.

I have the 4 hole pillar gauge mount.
Water temp, EGT, oil pressure, trans temp.
I just have to get around to hooking it all up.
Gauges sure are pretty, still inside the box.

I have the same thing. So the water temp probe should go in to which factory hole? The one above the timing gear?

I believe my water temp is getting plumbed into the water pump. Factory gauges/light are nice as a redundant system.
Whatsammatta?
Raining too much to go outside and play?
35 years and you should be use to it.
My age is just plain tired of it.

Come on down to Nv. just dry, dusty, wish it would rain.
In the summer when it does, it`s a gully washer, and then dry in a day or two.
Should be good thru Oct, but can be iffy with snow flurries, then sunny warm, then cold etc. varies from yr to yr.
Next day or two 35mph wind gust etc.....
Better nail things down.
Lots of wind here.

Oh! El Paso Texas. Yep. Lived there a lifetime ago. Then there was Portales, New mexico also.
That was more along the lines of high desert in that area. i have a sister just south of Payson Az, living on top of a mesa in the speed bump town of Rye Az. She gets the gully washers much as you do.
There are times when I wouldn't mind giving up the rain for the dry.

Not the one above the gear. The one behind the IP gear housing . It's in front of the driver's side head, in the block, behind and below the A/C compressor. The one in the head, below the valve cover is for the engine over temp light.

It's the one in the picture in the first post with the hex plug in it. The temp sender is sitting right above it.

I put all the OEM sensors back in place. My pod gauge will get connected to the top of the water pump.
Looking at the first pic will give you an idea of other OEM possibilities.

If you need even more spots for sensors, you can drill and tap the coolant bridge. The one on the left is for a arduino glcd when ever I get back to it and on the right is for e-fans, still have oem gauge and idiot sensor in place.
