depends if it is a full float or semi float, generally though 3/4 and one-ton are the same

I believe so. All the bearings and what not interchange on the 10.25 so to my mind they are the same

Thanks, well I have that guy who has one out of a single axle 350 it has new new brakes, hardware, parking brake cables, and he wants $100 for it, and it also has the same gear ratio I currently have, and its not a limited slip. Is it worth it or should I pass on it?

I would make sure they are both the same axle (most likely 10.25) if you are thinking of swapping parts onto your axle, which I'm thinking you are considering. They used a Dana 70 axle under some too. You can do a search for each and get an illustration that will make id easy.

Dana and Sterling parts will not interchange.

on the subject of rears, i got a 3/4 ton '92 dodge rear end (dana 60), and i have a '78 ford 3/4 ton rear (also 60). the dodge rear is 2" wider (1" each side) then the ford rear, any ideas why? :dunno i was going to use the ford backing plates as the dodge ones are rotted but they're different.... btw it's goin in the scout.

My F250 has a Dana 70 so you should make sure they are the same before getting all crazy. But 100 bucks is a steal

I would say for that money, either way grab it. You can always get your money back out of either.

I finally went and picked this all up yesterday after work. All this only cost me $100!!!

Here are some of the new parts.

New Rotors, one of them isnt even outta box.
New Wheel Cylinders
New Brakes
New Brake Hardware
New Differential cover
New E Brake Cables

I think it is a sterling. no sure the tag numbers yet, but I will post them here to tell what I have exactly. 2 of the 4 tires are brand new it looks like and the other 2 have about 50% tread.

There is a place on both sides where it looks like it is missing something you can kinda see in this picture.
