Heard about this from another forum I am on...

1991 F350 4X4
IDI non-turbo motor
E40OD transmission
manual hubs
manual transfer case 4H, 2H N 4L
Kingpin Dana 60 front
Wheeled Coach Box
Tires have less than 5000 mi but will need to be replaced due to age

new injection pump (moose pump from Conestoga, matched injectors, return lines, lift pump & batteries.
Now after a year, no compression.
The engine went from hard to start to will not start.

My guess is pump installed wrong & starter dead.

$3500 not bad price & I'm a cheapskate. Nice features for a camper/hunter if lifted.

I helped a buddy who purchased a 97 F350 4x4 ambu, he got it cheap like 1200 or so, needed to be re-wired in engine bay, (rat chewed ) we towed it too my yard worked on it for a month or so when it came time to start it we did the PSD prayer it fired right up! he painted it desert tan rhino liner, re did the back end (hes a master carp), put new lift bags on it and drove it too Arizona. He sold it for 16500.00 hes kickin himself for selling it now tho.

The fact that that's a F350 ambulance and not a van chassis is pretty significant IMNSHO. If that was closer and an OBS instead of bricknose, that might have to be my "poor man's Quigley Sportsmobile".

Somebody on here should snap that up as it's too cool to go anyplace else.
