No. CCSBs are F250s.

You couldn't get one of those until 1997......maybe it was '96?.....Yeah googling looks like '96 & '97.

D50s are good axles if you don't mind taking 40 acres to make a U turn is a non-issue to you.

Yeah.

This truck:
full

And this truck:
full

= Same turning radius!:D

OK not quite but not extremely far off either I bet lol! There are no such roads around anywhere, where I could ever contemplate a u-turn with either truck.:D

I call this one the "meatball". it's a 1990 f450 that was a towtruck wrecker at one time. now it has a stakebed weld onto it. the crew loves to drive it due to it's acceleration and turning radius.

Dana 50 good thing> axle shafts and Ujoints are external full clip, and not internal C clips like a 60. so they will take more shock loads for heavy service.

ever seen the d44 sized inner axles on a d50? 50 axles and u joints will hold up to sustained load similar to 60 stuff, but shock loads...no way...they twist where they neck down to go in the carrier every time.

Love the D50 TTB's, with a little mods like cut & turn and bushing replacement they can handle just about anything, plus with 12" of travel they really smooth things out. I always buy them up when people pull them to replace with a D60.

Axle type is based on model, not cab type. OP said F350, so it's a 60 (oh, yeah, he bought... well... stole it; see his other thread).

All f250 extended cabs are dana 50 ttb. Regular cabs are all dana 44hd ttb unless special ordered dana 50. It all has to do with the GVWR of the truck as to what the factory installed. Extended cab trucks have a higher GVWR.

that all went out the window in 1992. ford pared down the choices to D50 or D60 depending on the GVW.

So they got rid of the dana 44hd ttb in 1992? I didn't know that, thanks.
