My 1988 F-350 has 2 headlight adjustment screws at the top of the headlight assembly. They have 4mm hex on the end and a ball with a plastic "nut" captive over it, together with a fine thread into the rest of the truck frame. The "nuts" cam into the headlight assembly to hold it in position.

The "nuts" have crumbled away to dust, leaving no connection between the adjuster screws and the headlight assembly.

Does anyone know where replacements are available? I have found similar adjusters in many of the usual places, but none exactly like the ones I need.

If they're not readily available I guess I'll need to replace the screws with longer ones that will accept a washer and nut on both the back and front of the headlight assembly.

Thanks for the help.

Yep. Some of them look close - with the "nut" facing the opposite direction, or with a non-identical pair (only one might work) with a Phillips rather than the 4mm hex.

I'm still looking. Thanks for the reply.
