03 6.0 F250- rough idle, cutting off, and a runaway truck.....

And yeah- Im talking about the same truck.

We have an 03 F250 with the 6.0. Has about 110k on it, its a service truck for the company I work for. It has a very rough idle, but at times the engine will rev up while going down the road (or sitting still which is always fun) and try to take off on you. I drove it this morning and it cut off twice in about 5 minutes. Any thoughts on what this critters problem is? We have changed both fuel filters thinking that might be the problem but it hasnt helped any. Thanks for any suggestions!

Check for codes. Could be an issue w/ the HPO system (possibly ICP or IPR).

2nd on the ICP/IPR. If able to look at scan tool data KOEO ICP volts should be above .2 v. Normally it's around .24 v. If it's like .14 v the ICP sensor is biased and can make the 6.0 act funny.
