02 inj sleeve leaks compression

what to do about it.
dlr said 5000 to repair ir. new head.
buddys truck. should he replace the head or is there a way to repair it w/o pullin the head

Is it the inj cup leaking? It can be done without pulling the head. If the seal is broken the cup may pull out when you take the inj. out. clean it up and clean down in the hole, put some loctite on it put it together.

i guess he went ahead and let the dealer ream him...they had to replace so many parts they broke takin it apart that it was almost worth it
