    Well, down here, Shell is marketing something called V-Power. They are about 15 cents higher on all their grades than the competitiion. Must be some good sht, because I see a lot of people buying it.

    Is there a difference in the cappabilities of a chip and a programmer? I thought the only difference was that the chip was instantaneous and a programmer took a while to load.

    Any tranny kit (i.e. Sonnax, Transgo, FTVB) helps the tranny by increasing line pressure and reducing the amount of time that the clutches are slipping - is that correct? In order to truly "strengthen" a tranny, you have to replace the torque converter - is that also correct?

    Interesting. Mine are U's, even though I have a PSD CC 4x4 with dual alternators. How much heavier can you get that that? I would've thought I'd have at least the V's. Does this mean that I could expect to see a significant "lift" if I installed the X's? Thanks. James

    Thanks, I'll check tonight. Is the ride harsher with the X's as compred to the V's? Also, did the camper package come with any sort of spring upgrade? I bought the truck used, so I'm not sure what I have exactly.

    Thanks for all the suggestions. It's very consistent - if it's cold, then it pauses before turning over. I've tried cycling the GP's several times prior to starting with the same results. Once it does start turning, it starts no problem. I changed the oil last weekend and it was down...
