    Kansas City Auto Machine Shop?

I used to use Clarks on 24 Highway in Independence. I don't know if he does diesel, but he did great work on Pontiac and AMC stuff I used to play with. As for Day's Automotive, I wouldn't use them to clean a block. They were totally worthless on some Toyota heads I took them. Didn't do...

A deal too good to pass up.

If it uses the same frame as the 2012 f150, there is a lot a couple of miles from the Ford Claycomo, MO assembly plant where they unload frames from the train, they set in the lot until loaded on flatbed and taken to the plant.

FYI, Johnson Controls makes batteries for Wal Mart. They also make batteries for Autozone, Advance Auto, Interstate, Ford, Motorcraft, AC/Delco, Sears Die Hard, Energizer at Sams Club, Napa sold west of Kansas, Optima, and Costco Brand. Each customer has their own specs that the batteries...

    Snazzy paint job

I have seen alot of trucks in the last couple of years come out of the Ford Claycomo, MO factory like this. I figure they are going to a refitter to have some kind of box put between the cab and bed.

It kind of reminds me of a Stomper. Just needs some off road tread instead of the road tread.

When they first came out with the DEF, I was at a meeting where Freightliner brought a couple of trucks to with the new Detriot DD15's in them. After the Freightliner engineer explained it, he said not to put water in it or it would damage the system. I asked him if we could pee in it if we...

    6.9 in 76 f150 help please

NO. IIRC, the 352, 360, 390, and 428 used one bellhousing, and the 429, 460 used a different one. It has been quite a few years since I have played with the old big block Fords, though.

    NAPA Battery

Actually, it depends on what part of the country you are in. I am in the battery business, Johnson Controls does Napa west of mid-Kansas. Exide has been loosing business for years, as their batteries are pretty poor quality.

    7.3 idi head studs

I don't post much here, but I do lurk alot. I have done what Mel and Russ do, and any extra cash they make doesn't come close to making up for the time and money thay have put into it. About 95% of the time, what they are doing is strictly a labor of love, and they will never get rich off of it...
